Five arrests made as Tottenham and West Ham fans clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

 Five arrests were made following crowd trouble as Tottenham beat West Ham 2-1 to succeed in the Carabao Cup semi-finals.



The two sets of fans clashed before the sport with several cops forced to intervene outside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

There were also variety of incidents inside the stadium throughout the sport .


The arrests were for rampage , actual bodily harm, drunk and disorderly behaviour and assaulting an emergency worker.


One fan was also arrested on suspicion of invading the pitch.


The two teams were competing for a Carabao Cup semi-final spot, with Spurs winning because of goals from Steven Bergwijn and Lucas Moura.


Metropolitan Police said a "robust and proportionate policing plan" was in situ for the fixture, with officers responding to "sporadic" fighting outside the bottom .
