Peter Obi, the Labour Party's presidential candidate, and his supporters have been mocked by Kaduna state's governor Nasir El-Rufai for their upcoming "two-million-man march."
Remember that in order to mobilize support prior to the 2023 elections, Obi's supporters have been doing so both locally and online around the nation, most notably in the state of Nassarawa.
El-Rufai expressed his desire for 200 individuals to participate in the march in a tweet sent on Monday through his verified Twitter account.
In Kaduna? He tweeted. Not on Twitter in Kaduna? I hope you can gather 200 people, including the "imports" who couldn't open their stores on Mondays. and arrived yesterday night on an overnight bus! I'm just having fun, tallahi! - @KadunaResident.
El-Rufai claimed that "importing" people to Kaduna state was the only way Obi's supporters could reach their anticipated number.
Along with the sympathy march for Obi in Nasarawa, there have also been massive street protests for Obi in Calabar.
While all was going on, Obi was in Redemption City for the Redeemed Christian Church of God's 70th annual convention.
